Toddler Program

Toddlers specifically, through concrete examination of learning concepts and tactile experiences. Our toddler program focuses on all the areas of development in a purposeful way. 

• Cognitive: Math, science, social studies, and the arts.
• Language and Literacy: Books, vocabulary, songs, and fingerplays.
• Sensory: Touch, sight, hearing, movement, smell, and taste.
• Social/Emotional: Peer relationship building, bonding experiences, problem solving, social development, and family and culture.
• Motor Development: Fine motor, and gross motor.
• Healthy Living: Nutrition, safety, healthy practices, and self help skills.

Our toddler classrooms are separated into age groups to help individualize based on skill level, and developmentally approprate practice.  Classrooms are arranged into several large interest areas that promote play and exploration!

 Daily Schedule

6:30-7:30 -  Kids Korner opens mixed age play time
7:30 - Toddler building for Breakfast
8:00-9:00 - Free Choice Play
9:00-9:30 - Exploring the Arts
9:30-10:00 - Integrated activity time with a focus on Cognitive development 
**Diapering at 9:30
10:00 : Snack
10:30-11:00 - Outdoor Activities or Indoor Gross Motor Play
11:00-12:00 - Integrated activity time with focus on Social/Emotional development & Language and Literacy
** Diapering at 11:30
12:00 - Lunch
12:30- 2:30 -Nap/ Rest Time
2:30 -Free Choice Play Activities with Quiet Time
**Diapering at 2:30
3:00 -Snack
3:30-4:30 - Outdoor Activities or Indoor Free Choice Activities
4:30 - Indoor manipulative/ reading time 
**Diapering at 4:30
5:00-6:30 - Mixed age free choice play
